You have a listing on The Lineup — here's how to make it yours and keep it updated.
Step 1: Find Your Business
Go to the directory and search for your business name. Click on your listing to view it.
At the bottom of your listing page, you'll see one of two things:
- "Claim this listing" — click this to get started (go to Step 2)
- "Manage your listing" — you're already set up (skip to Step 3)
If your business isn't listed yet, visit suggest a listing to add it. Just give us your business name, area, and category — we'll create your listing and let you know when it's ready to claim.
Step 2: Claim Your Listing
Claiming is free and takes about 2 minutes.
- Click "Claim this listing" on your business page
- Enter your email address
- Check your email for a magic link — this is a special sign-in link we send instead of a password. Click it and you're signed in automatically. No password to remember, no account to create.
- Once we approve your claim (usually within a few hours), you'll have full access to edit your listing
You'll get an email when your claim is approved.
About magic links: Every time you want to sign in to manage your listing, we'll send a new magic link to your email. Just click it and you're in. Check your spam or junk folder if you don't see it within a couple minutes. The link expires after 24 hours, so use it soon after you receive it.
Step 3: Edit Your Listing
Once your claim is approved, go to your business page and click "Manage your listing" at the bottom. This takes you to your edit page.
You can update:
- Business description — tell people what makes your place special
- Phone number — so customers can call you
- Website — link to your website or Facebook page
- Hours — let people know when you're open
- Address — make sure people can find you
- Price range — give people an idea of what to expect
All text changes go live right away. No waiting for approval.
Step 4: Add Photos
Photos make a big difference — listings with photos get more clicks.
- Upload photos — drag and drop into the upload area, or click to browse. You can upload multiple photos at once.
- Set your main photo — click the star next to any photo to make it your main listing image.
- Remove a photo — click the X on any photo you want to remove.
Photos are reviewed before they go live — usually within 24 hours.
Photo tips:
- Exterior shots help people recognize your business
- Interior/atmosphere photos show what the experience is like
- Food photos work great for restaurants
- Landscape (horizontal) photos look best
- JPG, PNG, or WebP format, up to 5MB each
Step 5: Save Your Changes
Click "Save Changes" at the bottom of the page.
- Text changes (description, phone, hours, website) go live right away
- Photo changes are reviewed first — usually within 24 hours
Adding Events
If your business hosts events — trivia nights, live music, happy hours, classes, anything — you can add them to our events calendar.
On your edit page, click "Submit an Event." Fill in the event name, date, time, and category. Your event will appear on the calendar after a quick review.
If you have a lot of events, you can also upload your schedule (spreadsheet, PDF, or screenshot) and we'll add them all for you.

Other Things You Can Do
Transfer Your Listing
If someone else should manage the listing, scroll to the bottom of your edit page and click "Transfer Ownership."
Remove Your Listing
If you'd like your business removed, click "Request Removal" at the bottom of your edit page.
