Waterfalls Trail (Cloudland Canyon)
lookout-mountainStrenuous 2-mile round-trip trail at Cloudland Canyon State Park that drops down 600 metal stair steps to Cherokee Falls (about 1/2 mile in) and continues another 1/2 mile to Hemlock Falls. The descent is the easy part — the climb back up is real. Bring water; trails do not have fountains. Flow is strongest in winter and early spring.
